FREE VIDEO — Okhissa Resort Groundbreaking, Visit to Hospital Highlighted by Hyde-Smith Attendance

Friday was a big day for Franklin County and the Town of Meadville as the groundbreaking for the entrance to the Lake Okhissa Resort took place and a celebration for Franklin County Memorial Hospital took place. Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith attended both events as she has played a key role in securing land and funding for the resort project and also placed language in an appropriations bill that helped save the local hospital.
