Funeral services for Carolyn Sue Rollins, 75, of Natchez, were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at Hopewell Baptist Church in Bude with the Rev. Tony Mullins officiating.

Interment was in Franklin County’s Midway Cemetery.

Visitation was held from noon until the time of service on Wednesday at the church.

She was born to Louie Mullins and Bessie Rollins Mullins in Franklin County on Aug. 7, 1947, and passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at Merit Health River Regional Medical Center in Vicksburg.
Carolyn was a very thoughtful, loving, kind and considerate wife, mother, grandmother and church member.

She always had others in her thoughts and gave of her time to bring joy and help others.

She was a dedicated member of Hopewell Baptist Church where she served her Lord and as she would say, “help others get them some Jesus.”

She dedicated her life to her Lord, husband, family and especially her grandchildren, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her daughters, Khristie Nugent and Angie Sumerall; her sisters, Mildred Sproles, Maggie Dantzler, Dorothy Young and Shelia Avants; and her brothers, Ray Mullins, Louie Winston Mullins and William Mullins.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Reggie Rollins of Natchez; her son, Bryan Rollins of Natchez; her grandchildren, Savannah Petty and her husband, Jacob, of Natchez, Colten Nugent of Atlanta, Ga., and Tiffany Waddell and her husband, Billy, of Liberty; her great-grandchildren, Layla Perry, Logan Perry, Lauren Perry and Liam Waddell; her brothers, James Mullins and his wife, Linda, of Brookhaven, Stanley Mullins and his wife, Sylvia, of Vicksburg, Tony Mullins and his wife, Paulette, of Meadville and Marty Mullins and his wife, Cindy, of Natchez.

Pallbearers were Mitchell Avants, Matthew Avants, Jonathon Hayes, Kip Kelly, Danny Wallace and Prentiss Cupit.
