Funeral services for Hollis Cloy Jr., 85, of Natchez were held at noon on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville with the Rev. Kevin Campbell officiating.

Interment was in Greenlawn Cemetery in Natchez.

Visitation was held from 11 a.m., until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.

He was born to Hollis Cloy Sr., and Irene Coleman Cloy in Meadville on April 10, 1937, and passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Merit Health Natchez with his loving family by his side.
Mr. Cloy served in the United States Navy during the Korean War, and was a retired truck driver.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 51 years, Florell F. Cloy; his brothers, Linfield Cloy and Edgar Ray Cloy; and infant, Thomas Glenn Cloy.

Survivors include his son, Timmy Cloy and his wife, Jennifer, of Natchez; his daughter, Tammy Bradford and her husband, Jim, of Natchez; his brothers, Creighton Cloy of Meadville and Jesse Cloy of Vicksburg; his grandchildren, Amanda Baker and her husband, Kyle, of Prairieville, La., Ryan Comer and his wife, Ashley, of Natchez and Katie Cloy of Natchez; and his great-grandsons, Bodie Baker and Sky Baker. He is also survived by his loving companions, Bama and Levi.
