Homegoing services for Grace Von Holloway, 84 of Bude, will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Feb. 10, 2023, at Triumph the Church and Kingdom of God in Christ at 76 D Street in Bude.
Family hours visitation will be held at the Lighthouse Center at 19 Franklin Street in Meadville on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023.
She was born Sept. 12, 1938, and left her family and friends following a lengthy illness on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2023.
She was a creative homemaker with an entrepreneurial spirit who also managed several businesses out of her home throughout the years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, A.D. Holloway; her daughter, Carrie Holloway Lewis; her granddaughter, Shonda O’Quinn; and her two grandsons, Atlay O’Quinn and Quincy O’Quinn.
Survivors include her two daughters, Gwendolyn H. Handy (George) of Jackson and Linda Kay Holloway of Bude; her step-son Larry Bee of Bude; her dedicated daughter that she raised as her own, Rhonda Bee of Brookhaven; an adored lass, Deserie Brown, her three granddaughters, Conchata White (Tim) of Dallas, Texas, Gwennetta Tatum (Joe) of Madison and Jasmine Handy of Smyrna, Ga.; her two grandsons, George Handy II of Jackson and Terrance Handy of Nashville, Tenn.; her three sisters, Margie Lurlene Moore of Bude, Wilhemenia Spicer of McComb and Dorothy Oakley of Baltimore, Md.; her great-grandchildren, Jermeka, James, JaKaya, Jazmine, Carrie, Atlay, Celeste, Lauren, Addison, Matthew, La’Niya and Xavier; her adored great-great-grandchildren, Khamari, Jatavion and King; and her devoted caregiver, Willie Bee.
