Funeral services for Hoyt Lynn Rollinson, 77, of Smithdale were held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, Jan. 23, 2023, at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery with Brother Lance Moak officiating.

Visitation was held from noon to 1 p.m., on Monday, Jan. 23 at Brookhaven Funeral Home.

He was born to Hoyt and Oreane Rollinson on May 27, 1945, in Amite County, and passed away on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023, at home with his loving family by his side.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his two brothers, Van Lee Rollinson and Roddis Paul Rollinson.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Rollinson; his children, Denise Moak, Dusty Rollinson (Sherry) and Donny Rollinson; his grandchildren, Trey Maurer, Tyler Moak (Katie), Madilyn Rollinson, Joy Rollinson and Brodie Tanner; his great-grandchildren, Luci Jo Moak and Baby Moak; his five nephews; his three nieces; his sister, Naidene Davis; and a host of other family members and friends.
