Funeral services for Martha Cupit Allred, 87, of Beaumont, Texas, were held at 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 11, 2022, at Ebenezer Methodist Church in Franklin County’s McCall Creek community.

Interment was in the Ebenezer Methodist Church Cemetery in McCall Creek.

Visitation was held from noon until the time of service on Friday, Nov. 11 at the church. Additionally, a gathering of Mrs. Allred’s family and friends was held from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022, at Broussard’s Mortuary in Beaumont.

She was born to Thomas and Rosalie Garrett Cupit on May 22, 1935, in Natchez, and passed away at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas, on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Dr. Rudy Allred; her children, Gerald Allred and his wife, Debbie, of Dallas, Texas; Jim Allred and his wife, Jane, of Austin, Texas; Dr. Terri German and her husband, Bobby, of Beaumont, Texas; and Dr. Cheryl Nelson and her husband, Steve, of Lumberton; her grandchildren, Chris Allred, Matt Allred, Jacob Allred, Andrew Allred, Melanie Allred, Van German, Zach German, Emily Nicotre and her husband, Troy, Taz Nelson, and Luke Nelson and his wife, Taylor; her great-grandchildren, Rhyder Allred, Mindy Nicotre, and William Nelson; her sister, Rose Cole; and her brother, Tom Cupit.
