After its successful debut last August, the Mississippi Ag and Outdoor Expo is set to return for a three-day run at the Mississippi Trade Mart located on the state fairgrounds in Jackson.

The event, which is hosted by The Foundation for Mississippi Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks and presented by Southern AgCredit, will take place Friday, Aug. 5 through Sunday, Aug. 7.

“We are excited to bring this show back to highlight the incredible hunting, fishing and agricultural spirit of our state,” Foundation Chief Executive Officer Don Brazil said.

The foundation, which was established in 2003, works to protect and preserve Mississippi’s wildlife heritage through conservation and enhancement of fishing and wildlife resources.

The expo will run from noon to 7 p.m., on Friday, Aug. 5; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., on Saturday, Aug. 6; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Sunday, Aug. 7.

Tickets are $12 for participants ages 13 and up; $6 for children between the ages of 6 and 12; and youth ages 5 and under will be admitted at no charge.

The show is slated to feature: Agriculture, hunting and fishing products and services; worldwide guides and outfitters; ATVs and UTVs from top brands; and tractors and power equipment.

In addition, a variety of children’s activities are planned.
