TANYA EDITH LEE

Memorial services for Tanya Edith Lee, 66, of Meadville, were conducted 
on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 from Roxie Baptist Church.

Born on May 31, 1959 in Natchez to James Kenneth Halford and Waltrine 
Moore Halford, she died on Friday, April 24, 2026 in McComb.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Lee; her sons and 
daughters-in-law, Shaun and Day Lee, Jason Arnold and Jyles and Megan 
Lee; her mother, Walterine Halford; her sisters and brothers-in-law, 
Marla and Lance Murray and Tricia and Mickey Beach; her brother and 
sister-in-law, Darrell and Tammy Halford; nine grandchildren, D'Avion, 
Prescott, Shelby, Shane, Alea, Kaylee, Jaly, Hayden, Austin and 
Rayleigh; and four great-grandchildren, Karlyn, Tyler, Kinsleigh and 
Tyson.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Kenneth Halford; her 
daughter, Krystal Lee; and her brother, Kenneth Halford.

Marshall Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

DORIS D. CAMPBELL

April 22, 2026

Graveside services for Doris D. Campbell, 91, of Central, La., were 
conducted on Monday, April 27, 2026 from Midway Cemetery in Meadville.

Born in Lucien to Marshall Dunigan and Lula W. Dunigan, she died on 
Wednesday, April 22, 2026 her residence.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Rick 
Galloway; her sons and daughters-in-law, Jerrell and Susan Campbell and 
Carl and Tonya Campbell; her sister-in-law, May Campbell; eight 
grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James M. 
Campbell; nine brothers, two sisters and her sister-in-law, Betty 
Purvis.

The family would like to express its deepest gratitude to caregivers 
Donna Collins and Tammie Knight.

Chidlren's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

ARTHUR LEON BOYTE

Feb. 14, 1938-April 21, 2026

Funeral serves for Arthur Leon Boyte, 88, of Roxie, were conducted on 
Saturday, April 25, 2026 from Roxie Baptist Church, with Rev. Jamie 
Wallace and Rev. Tyson Windom officiating.

Interment followed at Roxie Cemetery.

Born on Feb. 14, 1938 in Roxie to William Earl Boyte and Annie Louise 
Combs Boyte, he enjoyed supporting Franklin County football and 
baseball, where his son played, and continued to be a spectator at games 
until the very end. He also supported Co-Lin baseball, also in memory of 
his son.

He was a faithful member of Roxie Baptist Church, where his family 
attended. He was a member for 50 years of Woodmen of the World, United 
Commercial Travelers, Order of the Eastern Star and Masonic Lodge.

Leon retired from the Mississippi National Guard and also the 
International Paper Mill in Natchez, where he was employed for 25 years.

He will also be remembered for his restaurant, A&J Burgers in Bude from 
1991-2000. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend to 
all who knew him.

He died on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Edna Jerlene Boyte; and a host 
of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Earl Boyte and Annie 
Louise Combs Boyte; his son, Arthur Leon Boyte, Jr.; and his brothers, 
Herbert Lee Boyte and Kenneth Boyte.
