STUMPAGE FOR SALE ON
16-5N-5E, Franklin County, Mississippi
Sealed bids will be received by the Franklin County Board of Education
at P.O. Box 605 Meadville, MS 39653 up to and not later than 10:00 a.m.
on March 17, 2026 for the purchase on lump sum basis of all timber,
standing or down, designated for cutting on Section 16, Township 5
North, Range 5 East, Franklin County, Mississippi. The sale consists of
±74 acre final harvest. Timber volumes are estimated to contain the
following more or less: 5,222 tons pine sawtimber, 363 tons pine
chip-n-saw, 506 tons pine pulpwood, 243 tons hardwood sawtimer, 221 tons
hardwood pallet wood, 620 tons hardwood pulpwood more or less. The above
figures are not to be construed to be the exact volume. Each bidder is
expected to make his own cruise and to bid accordingly. The timber may
be inspected at any time.

the undersigned, upon the Estate of Nora Jean Hughes, Deceased, notice
is hereby given to all persons having claims against said Estate to
present the same to the Clerk of said Court for probate and registration
according to law within ninety (90) days from this day, or they will be
forever barred.
