PENNY PARDUE DELANEY
Aug. 12, 1960-Feb. 1, 2026
Funeral services for Penny Pardue Delaney, 65, of Roxie, were conducted
on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026 from First Baptist Church of Bude, with
Brother Tyson Windom officiating.
Interment followed at St. James Cemetery in Jefferson County.
Born on Aug. 12, 1960 in Alexandria, La., she was the daughter of Nick
and Sue Pardue. She graduated from Adams County Christian School in 1978
then went on to earn an Associates Degree in Respiratory Care.
On Nov. 17, 1989, she married the love her life, Randy Paul Delaney. She
lived a life marked by compassion, determination and a deep love for her
family and her faith.
She devoted more than 25 years of her life to the respiratory field,
caring for others with kindness and compassion. When she became a
mother, she chose to be a stay-at-home mom, pouring her heath into
raising her children and creating a loving home.
Never one to be idle, she founded Professional Sitting Service, Inc.,
which she successfully owned and operated for 17 years. After her
children were grown, she again followed her entrepreneurial spirit and
began Delaney Boarding Services.
She was always busy, always working hard and always caring for others.
She found joy in life's simple pleasures — loving her family, working
with her flowers, trail riding on her horse and riding the motorcycle
with her husband, Randy Paul. Of all her blessings, nothing brought
Penny more happiness than her grandchildren. They were her greatest joy,
her pride and the light of her life.
She died peacefully on Feb. 1, 2026 in Meadville.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 37 years, Randy Paul of Roxie;
a son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Desiree Delaney of Roxie; her
daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Casey Beach of Roxie; five beautiful
grandchildren, Salem, Maven and Bowen Delaney and Randi Lynn and Wyatt
Beach, all of Roxie; her sister and brother-in-law, Carla and Don
Thompson of Alexandria; and her brother and sister-in-law, Craig and
Janice Pardue of Natchez.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nick and Sue Pardue.
Pallbearers were Louis Thompson, Scout Earls, Drew Hall, Carlton Hall,
Will Delaney and Jay Gamberi. Honorary pallbearers were Sam Thompson and
Clayton Delaney.
Above all else, Penny loved her Lord and Savior. Her faith guided her
life and sustained her through every season. Today, she is free from
pain and has entered her eternal home, where she now walks the streets
of gold with her Lord and Savior. "Well done, good and faithful service.
Enter into the joy of your Lord." (Matthew 25:23).
