Funeral services for Betty S. Wilkinson, 81, of Meadville, were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville.

Interment was in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Roxie.

Visitation was held from noon until the time of service on Tuesday, May 17 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wilkinson was born to A.H. Bonds Jr., and Bernice Flurry Bonds on Dec. 24, 1940, in Franklin County, and passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022.

Mrs. Wilkinson was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earnest Wilkinson; and her brother, John Alex Bonds.

Survivors include her son, Jimmy Wilkinson, and his wife, Patsy, of Bude; her daughter, Denice Casteel, of Natchez; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
