Funeral services for Mary Frances Smith, 84, of McCall Creek, were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 15, 2022, at Brookhaven Funeral Home with Brother Leland Smith officiating.

Interment was in the Damascus Cemetery.

Visitation was held from 1 p.m., until the time of service on Sunday, May 15 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Smith, a member of Damascus Baptist Church, was born Lloyd and Mildred Martin on Jan. 28, 1938, in Franklin County, and passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022, at home with her loving family by her side.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her brother, Robert Martin; her son, Ernie Smith; and her grandson, Corbitte Smith.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Carrol Smith; her two daughters, Wendy Hall (Darryl) and Cindy Smith (Brian Barnett); her two sons, Jeff Smith and Raymond Smith (Rena); her two sisters, Juanita Kimble and Patsy Case; seven grandchildren, Jessie Aldridge, Dallas Aldridge, Katelynne Ferguson, Michael Littlejohn, Scott Ferguson, Cheyene Dickerson, and Jessica Smith; five great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Kyleigh, Noah, Kinley, and Josiah; and a host of family and friends.
