Funeral services for Jerry Glenn Lofton Jr., 60, of McCall Creek, were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Franklin County’s Ramah Baptist Church.

Interment was in the Ramah Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation was held from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 10, 2022, and from 1 p.m., until the time of service on Wednesday, May 11 at the church.

Mr. Lofton, a 1979 graduate of Franklin County High School and a deacon at Ramah Baptist Church, was born to Jerry Glenn Lofton Sr., and Hazel Louise Kimble Lofton in Enigma, Ga., on Aug. 21, 1961.

He passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his infant brother, James Lofton.

Survivors include his uncle, Vernon Kimble; his aunts, Barbara Kimble, Shirley Oliver, Marie Hilton, Eva Allen and Geraldine Lofton; his nephews and niece, Patrick, Aaron and Sarah, whom he loved as his own; and a host of other family members, cousins and friends.
