Dorothy Rea Williams, deceased, notice is hereby given to all persons 
having claims against said estate to present the same to the Clerk of 
this Court for probate and registration according to law, within ninety 
(90) days from the first publication of this notice, or they will be 
forever barred.

NOTICE OF PROPOSED BRANCH ACQUISITION
Notice is hereby given that Bank of Franklin, Meadville, Mississippi, 
has made application with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, 
Washington, D.C. 20429, for its written consent to assume the deposits 
and purchase the assets of the BankPlus Branch Office located at 1028 
Highway 51, McComb, Mississippi (the "Branch"). The main office of 
BankPlus is in Belzoni, Mississippi.  The deposits assumed and assets 
purchased of the Branch will be relocated to and consolidated with the 
existing Bank of Franklin branch facility located at 511 Apache Drive, 
McComb, Mississippi 39648, and the Branch Office at 1028 Highway 51, 
McComb, Mississippi, will be closed at the time the transaction is 
consummated.
This notice is published pursuant to Section 18(c) of the Federal 
Deposit Insurance Act.  Any person wishing to comment on this 
application is encouraged to submit comments through the FDIC's 
website at https://cra.fdic.gov. Alternatively, comments may be filed 
in writing with the Regional Director of the Federal Deposit Insurance 
Corporation at its Regional Office at 600 North Pearl Street, Suite 700, 
Dallas, Texas 75201 no later than November 1, 2025, the 30th day 
following the first publication date of this notice.  The 
nonconfidential portion of the application file is on file in the 
regional office and is available for public inspection during regular 
business hours.  Photocopies of information in the nonconfidential 
portion of the application file will be made available upon request.
Any interested person may file a written protest and\or comments to said

ORDINANCE SETTING SPEED LIMITS FOR PORTIONS OF SEALE ROAD NW
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Supervisors of Franklin County, 
Mississippi, as follows:
SECTION 1. That due to certain traffic on a portion of Seale Road NW 
having been determined to travel at a speed which is greater than is 
reasonable or safe under conditions found to exist upon such portion of 
Seale Road NW, and after an inspection of the road, the access and exit 
points adjoining the road, the traffic using the road, the anticipated 
traffic to use the road, the proximity of residences and other 
structures to the road, and other relevant factors, and in accordance 
with Miss. Code Ann. Section 63-3-511 (1972 & Supp), the speed limits 
for those portions of Seale Road NW as set forth herein, are hereby set 
as follows and these speed limits shall be posted according to law and 
custom:
All that part and portion of Seale Road NW beginning at the intersection 
of Seale Road NW and McNair Road NW and running thence in a generally 
Westerly direction for a distance of approximately 3.8 miles to the 
point where the existing paved portion of Seale Road NW terminates and 
becomes a gravel road: 35 miles per hour.
SECTION 2. That violation of these posted speed limits shall be a 
misdemeanor and upon conviction any person violating said speed limits 
shall be subject to a fine in an amount and/or imprisonment for a term 
as set forth in accordance with Miss. Code Ann. Section 63-9-11 (1972 & 
Supp) and other relevant statutes.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect 
commencing upon the date when appropriate signs giving notice thereof 
are erected on such portion of road and shall continue in full force and 
effect until further order of this Board. 
SECTION 4. That a copy of this Ordinance be published one time in the 
Franklin Advocate, a newspaper within Franklin County, Mississippi, 
having a general circulation in Franklin County, Mississippi.
THEREUPON, the said Ordinance was declared to be adopted by the 
President of the Board of Supervisors of Franklin County, Mississippi, 
to be approved and was adopted by the Board of Supervisors of Franklin 
County, Mississippi.
SO ORDAINED, this the 20th day of October, 2025.
