Graveside funeral services for Shirley Ann Wilson, 84, were held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Franklin County’s McCall Creek community.

Visitation was held from 9 to 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 27 at Riverwood Family Funeral Services in Brookhaven.

She was born to George Byron Crane and Edna Burns Crane Benson in Texarkana, Ark., on Dec. 16, 1937.

She passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Ray Wilson; her parents; her sister, Bobbie Crane Tibbet; her brother, Lynn Byron Crane; and her step-father, Tillmon Benson.

Survivors include her sons, David Michael “Mike” Wilson and wife, Beverly, of McCall Creek and Perry Ray Wilson and wife, Lisa, of Baton Rouge, La.; her brother, James Harold Crane of Texarkana, Ark.; her sister, Sue Ellen Crane Murphee of Texarkana, Ark.; her grandchildren, Gerald Anthony Pourciau of Slidell, La., Michael Vincent Gerace and wife, Ramona, of Melville, La., and Christopher and Jessica Landry; and her great-grandchild, Hoyt Landry, all of Pride, La.

She is also survived by nieces, Nancy Chapman Mosely and Cherry Craddock, and nephew, Marvin “Chip” Corzine.
