Funeral services for Lenora Whittington, 63, of Meadville, were
conducted on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 from Siloam Baptist Church in
Meadville, with Rev. Leon Wallace officiating.

Born to Glen and Mildred Whittington on July 15, 1961, she was a member
of Siloam Baptist Church, teaching Sunday School with her sister, Ann
Dillon. She devoted herself to serving those in need, and she offered a
hand up, not a handout.

She retired from Weyerhaeuser after 37 years, working her way from a
young saw filer to a unit manager. She helped design and implement a
safety program used by the entire company to this day because people
always came first with her.

She will be missed by many and we pray that those who knew her will see
the best in people, have a heart like hers that always forgives and a
soul that never loses faith in God.

She died on Thursday, May 1, 2025.
She is survived by her sisters, Ann (Randy) Dillon and Maggie (Janet)
Whittington; her nieces and their spouses, Brandi and James Harrod and
Amanda Dillon; her nephew and his spouse, Stephen and Jennifer Causey;
her great-nephews, Scott Causey, Roman Harrod and Asher Harrod; her
brother-in-law, Roger (Kay) Causey; and her adopted family, Michelle
Vinson, Darlene Davis, Janice Vinson, Sharon (Bill) Taylor, Mary
Margaret (Kyle) Pace and Oscar.
