JOHN R. DELANEY, SR.

Funeral services for John R. Delaney, Sr., were conducted on Tuesday, 
Feb. 25, 2025 from Sarepta Baptist Church.

A member of Sarepta Baptist Church, he was known for his kind heart. He 
built a fulfilling career in the oil and natural gas industry that took 
him and his family across the United States. No matter where life took 
them, John kept his family united, always ensuring they felt connected 
and supported no matter where life took them.

He found joy in his work and hobbies, but his greatest love was always 
his family. A devoted husband and father, his legacy is one of love, 
resilience and strength. His life and actions have left a lasting impact 
on his many loved family and friends.

He died on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025.

He is survived y his two children and many cherished family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Margaret Delaney.
