Funeral services for Mary "Stacy" Ellis, 66, of Smithdale, were
conducted on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025 from Mt. Zion Baptist Church in
Meadville, with Brother Rodney Jones and Brother Darby Scott

Born in Natchez on May 23, 1958 to EB and Merle Arnold, she was a
Retired School Bus Driver with the Franklin County School District and a
Retired Bank Data Processor.

Her most loved and cherished job was taking care of her family and

She died on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025 at Franklin County Memorial Hospital
with her loving family at her side.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Brian Ellis; her daughters
and sons-in-law, Brandy and James Wilson and Chonda and Jay Ellis; her
son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Bridget Ellis; a special niece in
Nick Norworyta; her grandsons and their respective spouses, Colby and
Ella Bodden, Cole Kinnaird and Colten and Caden Ellis; her
granddaughters, Aubren Ezell, Abigail Bordelon, Katie Grace and Zoey
Norworyta; special friends in Darlene Massey (who is the keeper of her
secrets) and Tonia Johnson and a sister Connie; along with a host of
extended family and friends.
