Funeral services for Daniel Lee "Dan" Misch, 66, of Smithdale, were
conducted on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2025 from Johnson Grove Church of Christ.

Interment followed at the church cemetery.
Born on Sept. 25, 1958, he was a son of John Misch and Jean Misch Link.
He graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering from the West
Virginia Institute of Technology. He worked as a Radar Engineer for the
Department of Defense and helped develop and test targeted radar for the
Marine Corps and the Navy.

He had traveled around the United States and loved hiking with his wife
and friends while visiting National Parks. His dry sense of humor was
frustrating, but it brought smiles time and again.

He had a passion for woodworking and was a meticulous craftsman. He was
a member of Johnson Grove Church of Christ.

He died on Friday, Jan. 10, 2025 at his residence.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Terry Misch; his mother, Jean
Link; his children and their respective spouses, Mark and Alyssa Misch,
Audrey and Angel Aranda and Ruth Huntsman; his brother, John Misch; and
a grandchild on the way.

He was preceded in death by his father.
