Funeral services for David Lamar Moore, 82, of McCall Creek, will be at
2:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 15, 2024 from New Salem Baptist Church.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024 from
Riverwood Family and will resume from 1:30 p.m. until time of service at
the church.

Born on Feb. 18, 1942 to Charles Moore and Thelma Smith Moore, he worked
as a Tire Factory Technician before retiring.

He died on Monday, Nov. 11, 2024 at Meadville Convalescent Home.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Brenda Abel Moore; his children
and their respective spouses, David and Sandy Moore, Keith and Taara
Moore and Bret and Lori Moore; his sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and
Ethan Thames; seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Joseph, Ashley, Matthew,
Jonathan, Jacob and Kaitlyn; and nine great-grandchildren, Theodore,
Charlotte, Eli, Henry, Jack, Braxton, Forrest, Dawson and Jace.

Born on Aug. 10, 1956 to Billy Cloy and Arlene Klakken Cloy, she was a
longtime member of Hopewell Baptist Church, where she faithfully
attended and praised her Savior Jesus Christ. She loved her family and
enjoyed spending time with each one, especially loving on all of her
grandchildren.

She died on Friday, Nov. 8, 2024 at Baptist Hospital in Jackson.

Waylon Zumbro and Luke Zumbro; her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law,
Linda Cater and Dianne and Wayne Matthews; and a host of family and
