Log truck accident closes all of Highway 84, knocks out power for nearly 400

A log truck got entangled with power lines, pulling the lines down and knocking out power to nearly 400 Franklin County residents Thursday morning.

The incident occurred Thursday morning in the Lucien area of HIghway 84. Emergency personnel closed both sides of Highway 84 and were diverting traffic  away from the scene.

According to officials with Entergy, a total of 368 customers lost power due to the lines being torn down by the high load.
