DONALD EZELL
Sept. 9, 1943-Oct. 14, 2024
Funeral services for Donald Ezell, 81, of Bude, will be at 10 a.m. on 
Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024 from First Baptist Church of Bude, with Rev. 
Tyson Windom and Rev. Billie Joe Deer officiating.
Interment will follow at Midway Cemetery in Meadville.
Born on Sept. 9, 1943 in Meadville to Elbert and Nettie Ezell, he 
enjoyed hunting and fishing with his grandchildren and friends. He also 
enjoyed running his rabbit dogs. He was a loving husband, father, Popa 
and friend.
He died on Monday, Oct. 14, 2024 at his residence with his loving family 
by his side.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Melba Ezell; his daughters and 
son-in-law, Jill and Dunc McCormick and Christy Ezell Van Norman; his 
son and daughter-in-law, Hunter and Deanna Ezell; his brother and 
sister-in-law, Claude and Pat Ezell; his grandchildren, Tanner Van 
Norman, Anna McCormick, Brock Ezell, Kaitlyn Van Norman, Braden Ezell 
and Noah McCormick; and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Lucille Priest, 
Irene Priest, Edith Davis and Ethel Ratcliff; and his brothers, J.L. 
Ezell and Cecil Ezell.
Pallbearers will be Noah McCormick, Tanner Van Norman, Braden Ezell, 
Brock Ezell, Patrick Larkin and Bryan Kyzar. Honorary pallbearers will 
be Mike Priest, Josh Thibodeaux, Michael Ward, Roger Arnold, James King, 
Sr., and Eddie Hester.
The family requests that memorials be made in his name to the First 
Baptist Church of Bude, Amazing Faith Center.

ROBIN THERESA BERRYHILL
Dec. 27, 1955-Oct. 12, 2024
Funeral services for Robin Theresa Berryhill, 68, of Smithdale, were 
conducted on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2024 from Mt. Gilead Primitive Baptist 
Church, with Elder Luke Addison and Elder Harvey Bates officiating.
Interment followed at Mt. Gilead Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born on Dec. 27, 1955 to the late Leroy Scroggs and Florence Noseworthy 
in New Orleans, La., she was a faithful wife of 51 years. She loved her 
grandchildren, spending time with her children and being outdoors. She 
was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be missed by 
all those who knew and loved her.
She died on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024 at St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson 
with her family and her friends by her side.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Robert D. Berryhill, Jr.; 
two children and their respective spouses, Michael Allen and Tanya 
Berryhill and Heather Theresa Thompson; three grandchildren, Katelyn Joy 
Berryhill, Memorie LeighAnn Smith and Michael "Ellis" Thompson; a 
brother and sister-in-law, Leroy and Dana Scroggs; two sisters and a 
brother-in-law, Jeannie and Paul Wallace and Sonya Allison; and many 
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Robert Douglas 
Berryhill III; and her grandmother, Jodie Scroggs.
Pallbearers were Cody Berryhill, Jason Wallace, David Wallace, Shane 
Hunt, Jacob Scroggs and George "Little Bubba" Berryhill, Jr.. Honorary 
pallbearers were Michael "Elllis" Thompson and Sawyer Bowlin.
Hartman Jones Funeral Home of McComb was in charge of arrangements.
