Funeral services for Wayne King, 74, were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021, at Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit with the Rev. Eric Moak officiating.

A graveside service and interment followed at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Smithdale.

Visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021, and then from 1 p.m., until the time of service on Thursday, Oct. 28.

Mr. King, who enjoyed spending time at his camp on the Homochitto River, was born to Ray King and Ruth Myers King in Dover, Del., March 14, 1947, and passed from this life on Sunday, Oct. 24, 2021, at his residence with his loving family by his side.
