JUDITH (FOSTER) HAMILTON
Jan. 14, 1941-March 30, 2024
Funeral services for Judith (Foster) Hamilton, 83, of Meadville, will be
at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from Landmark Pentecostal
Church in Eddiceton, with Rev. Jessie Givens officiating. Visitation
will be from 11 a.m. until time of service on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at
the church.
Born on Jan. 14, 1941, she was a lifelong member of the United
Pentecostal Church, serving as a musician, teacher and treasurer. She
loved taking care of her many flowers and plans and family gatherings,
where she enjoyed fellowship and playing board games.
Proverbs 31:27: "She watches over the ways of her household and does not
eat the break of idleness."
She died on Saturday, March 30, 2024.
She is survived by Jerry Lavonne and Donna Hamilton, Shauna Hamilton and
Marc Barrier and grandson John Foster Hamilton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Vonn Hamilton; and her
granddaughter, Katelyn Sue Hamilton.

LARRY DOUGLAS SMALLWOOD
June 28, 1948-March 25, 2024
Funeral services for Larry Douglas Smallwood, 75, of the Pleasant Valley
Community, were conducted on Monday, April 1, 2024 from the Chapel of
Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, with Rev. Matt Blackwell
officiating.
Interment followed at Midway Cemetery in Meadville.
Born on June 29, 1948 in Bude to Lee Smallwood and Clydene Patterson
Smallwood, he served our country in the United States Army during the
Vietnam War.
He enjoyed fishing and was a very talent man who could repair of build
almost anything. He loved using his many talents to helps his friends
and neighbors whom he loved to visit with. He loved his long-time
sweetheart and wife of 56 years, Sue. He loved his family and extended
family and always looked forward to spending time with them.
He died on Monday, March 25, 2024 at St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Sue Scott Smallwood; his brother and
sister-in-law, Mike and Mott Smallwood; his sister and brother-in-law,
Jerry and Kyle Dixon; and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Clydene Smallwood; and
his sisters, Lee Dean Bass and Joane Coleman.
Pallbearers were Billy Smallwood, Tommy Lynn Sullivan, M.L. Bonds,
Johnny Scott, Melvin Ward and Harold Spring.
