REV. VANCE "VANN" ERNEST WINDOM, JR.

Funeral services for Rev. Vance "Vann" Ernest Windom, Jr., will be at 11
a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024 from West McComb Baptist Church.
Interment will take place at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
Brother Vann preached for the Lord for 48 years in five Southern Baptist
Churches, where he loved to tell people about his love of the Lord. His
hobbies were his kids, hunting, fishing and spending time in the
outdoors with his family and friends.
He loved his bride of 47 years and spoiled her rotten! He loved watching
his grandchildren all he could. Brother Vann had been the Pastor of West
McComb Baptist Church for the past 20 years and loved his church and
congregation.
He died on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2024 at Southwest Mississippi Regional
Medical Center in McComb.
He is survived by his wife of 47 faithful years, Denise Windom; children
and their spouses, Bethany and Brian Martin, Vance and Courtney Windom
III, Tyson and Ashley Wyndom and Sam and Anna Chenn-Nomenn; his parents,
Vance Ernest Windom, Sr., and Levunia McKinzie Windom; his sister and
brother-in-law, Mytra and Randy White; his sister-in-law and
brother-in-law, Carolyn and Joe Welch; his brother-in-law, Sherman Rice;
and grandchildren, Gracyn Jewell Martin, Ethan Martin, Blayten Windom,
Addie Windom, Tyson Windom, Jr., Aubrey Windom, Colt Windom, Sam
Chenn-Nomenn and Simon Peter Chenn-Nomenn.
He was preceded in death by his in-laws, Martha and Foster Tyson; and a
nephew, MacKenzie White.

MARTHA LEE DELANEY
March 17, 1930-Jan. 3, 2024
Funeral services for Martha Lee Delaney, 93, of Natchez, were conducted
on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024 at Franklin County Funeral Home, with Tyson
Windom officiating.
Interment followed at St. James Cemetery in Jefferson County.
Favorably known as "Mot," she was born on March 17, 1930 in Calhoun City
to David London and Ruby Pearl England. She married William Rayburn
Delaney on July 9, 1949 in Franklin County. In 1966, Martha and Rayburn
would make their home in the Natchez area, where they would finish
raising their five children there.
She died on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2024 in Meadville.
She is survived by her children and their respective spouses, David and
Shirley Delaney, Jimmy and Karen Delaney, Tammy and Carlton Hall, Randy
and Penny Delaney and Leigh Ann Delaney Tidwell; seven grandchildren and
their respective spouses, Amy and Jay Gamberi, Clayton and Christy
Delaney, Will and Elsie Delaney, Erin Delaney, Drew and Paula Hall, Paul
and Desiree Delaney and Nicole and Casey Beach; 14 great-grandchildren
and their respective spouses, Mia and Graci Jayne Gambery, Carly Delnaey
and Morgan and Joey Russll, Madison, Ava and Parker Delaney, Emily and
Easton Hall, Maven and Bowen Delaney and Randi Lynn and Wyatt Beach;
three great-great-grandchildren, Hayes McGraw, Briar Day and Grace
Russell; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rayburn; her
siblings, David Allen England, Robert Earl England and Ruby Hazel
Ingram; and her son-in-law, James Tidwell.
Pallbearers were Clayton Delaney, Drew Hall, Paul Delaney, Jay Gamberi
and Casey Beach.
The Delaney family would like to thank the staff of Meadville
Convalscent Home for the kindness and focused care shown during their
mother's stay.

Funeral services for Kendrick Je'Marr Glapion, Jr., 14, were held on
Friday, Jan. 5, 2024 from Victory & Power Ministry in Baton Rouge, La.
Interment followed at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in
Kirby.
Born on Jan. 31, 2009, he died on Monday, Dec. 25, 2023.
