Funeral services for Allie Louise “Elouise” Trosclair Gill, 76, of McCall Creek, will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022, at Concord Baptist Church in McCall Creek with Brother Matt Emfinger and Brother Toby Jones officiating.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m., until the time of service on Thursday, Jan. 6 at the church.

She was born to Angelo and Marie Louise Trosclair on the bayou in South Louisiana on Jan. 2, 1946, and passed away Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021, at Merit Health Central in Jackson.

Mrs. Gill was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, George “Benton” Gill Sr.; her parents; her in-laws, Claude and Naida Gill; her sisters, Irene Porrfait and Linda Gregoire; her brothers, Pete Trosclair and George Trosclair; and one beautiful granddaughter, Ashley Renee Doles.

Survivors include her son, George B. Gill Jr., of McCall Creek; her two daughters, Malisia G. White of Brookhaven and Tammy L. Gill of Abbeyville, La.; her brother, Ernest Trosclair of Dulac, La.; her sister, Bessie Jackson of Grand Bay, Ala.; her six grandchildren, Amanda (Randy) Wallace, Jeffery White, Allison Doles, Claude Gill, Staci White and Sean White; and three great-grandchildren Chloe White, Reina Wallace and Warren White.
