Local candidates left off sample ballot; list provided here
The sample ballots that were published in the Aug. 3 Voter's Guide of The Franklin Advocate did not have many of the local candidates listed on them. We apologize for this error and hope to set the record straight with this story.
The following is a complete listing of local candidates in Tuesday's primary elections. Remember that you must vote in either the Republican or the Democratic primary. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday, and all eligible residents are asked to vote for the candidates of their choice. The following local candidates will be listed on the ballots, with candidates designated to certain districts in the case of Supervisors and judicial posts. That means not all of these candidates will be on each ballot, as the precinct you vote in dictates some of the candidates that appear on the ballot.
The Franklin Advocate urges everyone to be sure and exercise their basic right of casting a ballot.
