CHARLINE CAMPBELL PALMER

July 18, 1951-June 7, 2023

CRANFIELD --- Funeral services for Charline Campbell Palmer, 71, were

conducted on Friday, June 9, 2023 from New Hope Baptist Church in

Cranfield, with Brother Henry McElroy officiating.

She was laid to rest beside her granddaughter, Skylar Michelle Royals,

at Heard's Cemetery in Manifest, La.

She was born on July 18, 1951 in Natchez to Willie Mae Mixion and

Charlie Joe Campbell.

She died on July 7, 2023.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Carlton Hewitt Parlmer; her

son, Shane Zumbro; two daughters and sons-in-law, Brandie and Johnny

Nelson and Sandy and Pete Adams; her grandchildren and their respective

spouses, Malorie Zumbro, Raleigh and Chandler Lee, Chazz and Hannah

Nelson, Jordan Adams and Kaley Adams; her great-grandchildren, Tucker,

Beckham, Easton and MillerKate; four brothers and their respective

wives, Joe and Becky Campbell, Robbie and Marietta Campbell, Duck and

Wanda Campbell and Billy Hall; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins

and in-laws.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, Ernest Mixon;

her grandparents, Richard and Bertha "Mama" Campbell; her brothers,

Richard Campbell and Roger Mixion; and her sisters, Aline Hall and

Elizabeth Mixion.

Pallbearers were Chazz Nelson, Johnny Nelson, Pete Adams, Jordan Adams,

Jerry Palmer, Chandler Lee and Davanger Griffin. Honorary pallbeaers

were Colby Campbell, Austin Cavin and Joe Felter.

Jackson for the wonderful care it gave during her final days.

CALVIN LAVON CAUSEY, SR.

May 15, 1943-June 4, 2023

Funeral services for Calvin Lavon Causey, Sr., 80, of Meadville, were

conducted on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from Middleton Creek Primitive

Baptist Church in Meadville, with Brother Leon Wallace officiating.

Internment followed at Middleton Creek Primitive Cemetery.

Born in Meadville on May 15, 1943 to the late Charlie Louise and RosaLee

Prather Causey, he was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy. He was

a loving Father, PawPaw, PapPap and friend. He worked as a Deputy with

the Concordia Parish (La.) Sheriff's Department, was a retired Diesel

Mechanic of Taylor Equipment and a member of the Chapter G Motorcycle

Club.

He loved spending time with family and friends, riding his motorcycle,

camping and traveling.

He died on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Forrest General Hospital, surrounded

by his loved ones.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Sonny and Sandy Causey of

Meadville; his daughter and her fiance', Sheri Drane and Todd Savage

of Dulac, La.; his grandchildren and their respective fiance's, Sierra

Causey and Andrew Franks of Winnsboro, La., Kyla Drane of Ferriday, La.,

Suzanna Rasberry of Meadville and Michael Plugge of Meadville; his

great-grandchildren and their respective fiance's, Maddi Smith,

Trenton Delaune, Bryce Causey, Brantley Causey, Bubby Jr. Wallace,

Brittany Wallace, Austin Wallace and Kellie Torrez; his brothers and

sisters-in-law, Roger and Kay Causey and Weslie and Darnell Causey; the

mother of his children, Faye Causey; and a host of nieces, nephews and

many special friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Louis and RosaLee

Prather Causey.

Pallbearers were Andrew Franks, Shawn Thibodeaux, Wade Wallace, Stephen

Causey, Todd Savage, Wayne Matthews, Michael Foreman and James Nevels.

Honorary pallbearers were his great-grandsons, Bryce Causey, Trenton

Delaune, Brantley Causey, Bubby Jr. Wallace and Austin Wallace; and his

great-granddaughters, Maddi Smith and Brittany Wallace.
