Funeral services for Maxine Foy, 88, of Fayette, were held at 1 p.m., Monday, May 22, 2023, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville with the Rev. Eric Moak officiating.

Interment was in the Sarepta Baptist Church Cemetery in Meadville.

Visitation was held from 11 a.m., until the time of service on Monday, May 22 at the funeral home.

She was born to Charlie Wesley McCaa Sr., and Mittie Marry Ezell McCaa on March 27, 1935, in Jefferson County, and passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Jefferson County Memorial Hospital in Fayette.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James E. Foy Sr; her son, James E. Foy Jr.; her brothers, Charlie W. McCaa Jr., and James “Sonny” McCaa; and her sisters, Christine LeBlanc and Dorothy Upton.

Survivors include her brothers, Rayford McCaa of Fayette, Doyle McCaa and his wife, Lula Mae, of Summit and Jim McCaa and his wife, Georgia, of Clinton, La.; her sisters, Betty McCaa and her husband, Clyde, of Baytown, Texas, Mildred Rankin and her husband, Patrick, of Madison, Ala., and Billie Freeman of Golden Meadows, La.; and her niece, Theresa Cothren and her husband, Rex, of Meadville.
