Lady Dawgs - Play In Rounds Successful
The Lady Dawgs Fast Pitch Softball team came in second to Wesson in district play for the season.  This put the Lady Dawgs having to go to Play In Rounds before play offs begin. The Lady Dawgs traveled to Morton, MS to meet up with the Lady Panthers last Friday night, April 21, 2017.  Franklin County Lady Dawgs Varsity took the lead late and defeated Morton Panthers 7-5.  

Kids Fishing Day 2017
The Homochitto National Forestís 2017 Kids Fishing Day will be held Saturday April 29, 2017 at Clear Springs Recreation Area.  Clear Springs Recreation Area is located 4.5 miles west of Meadville/Bude off Highway 84.Kids, bring your bait, poles, lawn chairs, insect repellent, snacks and drinks and come prepared for a great morning of fishing fun! All kids must be accompanied by an adult guardian. Registration and events will begin at 7:00 A.M. and will end at 9:00 A.M. No pre-registration required.  For more information about the event contact the U.S. Forest Service at 601-384-5876.
